Element skateboard shoes 2009 with Tim Tim, Stanton, Mike Vallely, Brent Atchley and the others
After the presentation of Element shoes for 2008, we will now look into the shoes collection for 2009. Products wich have never been tested on le site du skate, but we’ll still show you the new models without telling anything about their resistance .
We will first start with the pro models with the Chad Tim Tim: a very thin shoe and probably not that resistant , with a color that reminds me about the Dill from Etnies.
Darrell Stanton: A little too fat for me,
but it will probably last longer resistance wise.
Mike Vallely : The MV 2.0 looks like a versatile shoe because MID. High enough to do curve or park and a very low sole to feel the deck better in street. I have a preference for the brown model.
Brent Atchley high and low : It is a really beautiful shoe because it is high on the back and thin and low on front; like the first skateboard shoes in 1990. A specific form of footwear I have never tested before but which I would enjoy.
If the high model does not suit you there is still the same model without the high part, the Omaha.
Then the other models with the Carnegie, a shoe in Converse fashion with a piece of plastic on top and a thin tongue ,class and yet resistant.
Still in the thin-shoes category, there is the Why-no wich has all the elements of a good chilling pair of shoes, like the Emerica Spanky. It is especially designed for walking as it is made with light fabrics.
In the bigger area we have the Griggs (left) and GLT (right) models wich are very similar. The Griggs being just a little higher
The Billings, like the Carnegie ,has a thin tongue and seems to offer a very good feeling on deck but comes with less conventional colors ... I like the black and white model.
Churchill, it looks like an Etnies Kinch (for kids). Cool model with Rasta colors for the kids
In the spirit of the Gatsby from DC, Element releases another chilling shoe with the Sonora
The apparent seams on the front of the shoe will probably not last very long but for bbq afternoons, they are very good.
The shoes from the Element Conscious collection 2008 will also be available in 2009
There is also the Power to the planet collection that includes the Why no, Carnegie and Tim tim models but wich are made of bamboo. Yes, you’ve read well, of Bamboo !
That’s pretty nice, but where to find them?
Difficult to find in shops as I have only seen them on http://www.hawaiisurf.com/ or http://www.astrofaz.com
Regarding the actual Element footwear, it is to discover on the website of the brand here
My favorites from this forthcoming collection are the Omahigh, the Carnegie and Tim Tim
And what about you, what’s the model you would like to ride ?
